Perhaps you would notice that I kept talking about the first day in banquet. I realised that in almost every conversation, it kept appearing there. I dont know why but I'm sorry if you are irritated by that. But I also dont know why because of it, I'm able to chat with Liling on the phone. This is something which has never happen since I started knowing her. Perhaps that is the plus point of talking about banquet. But still, I really want to make sure that I dont put it before my GOD. why? Because He LOVES me! short and sweet. haha.
Camp is coming. so excited for that because this is the first time I'm having camp in my grad CG. 3 days 2 nights is super short but never mind. This 3 days will be a madness one as well as a super fast growth period for many of us.
Recently, I reading a book called Faith Like a Child. A pretty nice and easy to read book. The author used his daily experience with his son to describe the Fatherly love that God has for us. This holidays, I'm gonna read 2 books and if u want to borrow, do tell me! =D
just got a weird call from an india man. I thought that was an indian girl classmates number. She gave it to me long ago. I thought the man is her father.
Here the conversation: hj- are u Ishwarya? IM- no shraya. hj- Ishewarya. you know where is she? IM- no shraya. hj- i mean ISH-WAR-YA IM- no shraya hj- nvm. is this your phone? Bad Experience!
For the past few day, it was indeed a very busy week. I found a job at oriental hotel banquet and I started working on sunday. Well, it was tiring, especially my toes. We had to wear heels so it was like tip-toeing to work. We met yuan hui and ding jie there too. Thank God that we had friends there. At times, they did help me to finish work.
Also, we made friends there too such as Ruth, Adeline and Kaly. We met Ruth when we stepped into the security post. Well, if not for her, we wouldn't know where to get our uniform and stuffs. She's also a believer and is in city harvest. It's kind of rare to meet a believer in such working environment (tell u more later). As for Adeline, she's very outgoing and small in size. During working, if we had any problems, we'll look for her since she worked there for a week. Kaly. She was new too. First day at work too. We helped one another if we had any problems.
We did chinese wedding dinner that day. Thank God that my guest was not so fierce but they were really friendly. We supposed to portion food for them but they said they want to do it themselves. Also, when serving them, they do talk to me, thus making me feel more comfortable in serving them. Also, most of them are from China so relating with them definitely was not a problem. We had to cut fish and I really hated that! Yan Yi (my in-charge) asked us to cut the tail and head. I tried in front of the guest but failed. Obviously is impossible with a knife you use to spread butter! And when I cut the fish meat, it was really bad. But as i had said, they are really nice thus, they doesn't really mind.
As for the working environment, it's really bad. The manager used vulgarities as their language. Even if they weren't scolding people, they still can use it. Professional "Vulagariters" If you want to learn, look for them and they can teach you how to use it in every sentence you speak. Also, if you are looking for a crude boss, they are the ones. (though they are not really the boss) They can anyhow deduct your pay and always threaten you with that! There were also many people from China working at Oriental. They are from an agency. Some of them are really friendly and helpful.
Time passes really fast there. Phew. I really don't like working at the place where time crawls like snail. I heard that some other people serving in other ballroom got ang bao from the guest. Everyone got a $10 ang bao. I think it should be a common thing in oriental because it's a five star hotel! Perhaps that's the only plus point working here!
working with Him, rayna
Hereby, I declare O level is out of my life!!~ I know I'm slow for two days but never mind. Well, I have a lot of plans for this 3 months holiday and I want it to be very very very fruitful. I want to do things that I've never done before (eg. play pool, learn to wear heels, go oversea with friends etc.) and things that i might not be able to do in the future (eg. learn a new language)
I also intend to work. I've found some flexible jobs and the pay is quite good. But if you still have any job to recommend to me, do still tell me=D
got to go now.

Finally! My angel had bless me! My group has been playing the game "angel and mortal" for the past few week. But for the past few weeks, my angel had not bless me. Finally! She blessed me with the chocolate that i like. haha. Really felt loved! haha Also, it's quite unexpected to receive a gift from my angel because ytd i was complaining that my angel didn't bless me. Our group had played this game many times already but everytime, my angel did not bless me. BUT now she DID. haha. i'm over the moon already=D
today, sharlene announced the new restructure system. phew. not a lot a changes. Really thank God that my group is still the same people except that Eileen will be joining us! She's gonna be mad after joining our group cos our group is really a bunch of crazy people. I think can laugh until "peng". Thinking about laughing, i suddenly thought about how she and shuh fen laugh during our previous care group. haha. it's contagious. Also, i got a new shepherd. It's YIN LING! This is my second shepherd in hope. It's really a time for me to grow because I believe that behind every changes is a time of growth! Prepare to see me change from "huh?" to "yoyo". why? hMm.. think harder!
Anyway, me, liling, joleen, yin ling, tryphoza, vivan, kang li went to eat tau huay together despite the bad weather! By God's grace, we got a very good seats with fan so we dont have the face the flying xiao qiang!
Haha. our group's getting BIGGER too!!!
As in, the group that always still for dinner! Tau huay plus you tian and egg tart were really fanstastic! Imaging slurping down the soft, smooth and delectable tau huay down your throat. This is not enough. The you tian is extremely crispy and lip smaking that for a moment that you does mind how much fats you would gain after eating this. Last but least the egg tart is very very different from any egg tarts. The crust is cripsy unlike others which is dry and not crispy at all. haha. where to find it? at rochor which is some where woo loo to me. the place is not very well decorated. it is some how like a cofee shop in hong kong. the last time we went we even see try's best friend- XIAO QIANG! Not in the food, but flying towards us in the alley.
Later, we went to arcade. It has been ages since I last went there. The basketball game is REALLY MAD! We threw the ball until it stuck behind the machine. We throw the ball to the next machine. We did all kinds of weird thing. But it was FUN! Had a great time there as we fellowship and unwind ourselves. The week was bad for us BUT we did it with our Creator! I'm different from others. WE are different from others. We are stressed BUT we have the assurance. Not the assurance of getting all the aces but assurance of a prosperous future!
i'm different. -renn-
it's unbelievable that i'm still alive. i'd thought that i might suffocate to death any time in this week. This week, everyday is filled with paper so after finish a paper, i had to start preparing for the next one. BUT this week is OVER!!!!!woah~~~~~ I'm left with 4 paper. 3 paper for next week and last one at the following week=D
Just came back from the "battle field". As for now, I had finish two "wars". Many thought that it was a easy fight but as for me, I think it was kind of hard. Somehow, I feel like I'm taking prelims but hope that the result would not turn out as bad as the prelim. Well, my prelim simply is ...... haix. If you going to ask me what I anticipate now, well, it's the celebration I'm going to have after my O level. I'm not going to care about my result for now. I just hope that this exam would end as fast as it can be. Perhaps, maybe the second coming of Christ also can. =D woahaha. Then, I can don't need to step into Dunman's Hall again. lol. I'm going to have a really tough "fight" next week. Next week, i have paper everyday. Never mind, the end of O level will be my greatest reward!=) off to bed now before going for cg!
