played badminton on friday. the next day mascles ache.
these few day, i've met some weird stuffs. yesterday we took a long journey bus ride home. on the bus, peixin saw white liquid drooling out of one of the Indian worker's mouth. Initially she thought it was his saliva but when she saw that his cheeks were bloated, she knew that he was feeling nauseous. Then we passed him a plastic bag and he rejected at first. We insisted and so he took the bag and immediately vomitted. SOme of it flowed out. He vomitted a lot. It was a full bag of it. It was obvious that he had tried to bear it for a long time. The story doesn't end here. Later, the person beside him also wanted to vomit. We tried to find plastic bag but to no avail so I took Jol's plastic bag which she always put her bible (SOrry Jol) and passed it to that man. The scene was very funny. It's not that we dont have compassion. It was just funny. I tried to control as I know it was very rude. But when jia min saw my stiff face, she laughed. Seeing that she laughed, I burst out in a quiet laughter. When the man alight the bus, he even smile to us and it makes me feel even guilty. However, when I looked back, I will still laughed at that scene.
the other happened when I went shopping with jia min today. we went shop to shop to try clothes but didnt buy much. then we happened to go a shop whom we saw the shop owner who looked familiar. so jia min asked me if we had come to that shop before. However, I clearly remembered that we did not. So we just continue to look at the clothes. Then the lady whom we thought that she looked familiar suddenly said something like that, "Today a lot people come in shop and look but didnt buy anything." WAH. It was so obvious that she's talking about me and jia min. But I remained super cool and trying to act blur and continue to look at the clothes. After a while, we left. Jia min tht that i didnt know that the lady is talking about us. Then, I told her that I acted. LOL WAH. then me and jia min were super angry. COME ON LAH! It's not that we dont want to buy. Just that your clothes are too ugly and don't worth the money! Then later, we realised that we went to her another shop before that. It really spoil our day. Just because we didnt buy your stuffs and we are being told off. EVIL!
By the way, school starting tomorrow. Not really excited. Hmm..
went to church office to watch to tape again. chiong 2 today. it's about submitting and accepting. a powerful message preached by andy stanley. he was indeed a very humorous preacher.
after that, we went for lunch before we went to the comcare retreat. although not many people went, we had a lot of fun. initally, the objective is to play badminton. but we end up playing other things too such as uno stako, guitar etc while waiting to play badminton.
some of the girls also sat down to talk about bgr. haha. fun and funny too. got to know the engit sisters better.
after retreat, some of them went to buy stinky toufu. this is my first time trying it. but fortunately, it is not as stinky as what i smelt before. some stinky toufu is really stinky but this was quite alright.
after that, we went to lemmuel's house. his mother was very hospitable. and her mother also told us that lemmuel has changed a lot after going church. this is one good testimony of life transformation. hmm. i wonder what my mum would say about me. indeed, the God that we serve now did change many lives. this reminded me of what i heard from a song before at jacob's place. i forgot how it goes already. the song just struck me with a question.
"what if God has not enter into your life, how would it be life now?" Do take time to think of it. I've thought of it. Share with you guys next time.
Okay. I going for camp this evening. I haven't packed my bag and I'm now in school. Going to have a fruitful time for the next 3 days. I'm anticipating!

Being applerish, I will tell u a story about apples. A story I heard on Hope 107fm years ago.
A man approach a boy and asked him, "Tell me what God can do and I will give you this apple!" The boy replied, "Tell me what God cannot do and I will give you a big basket of apples!"
I think I am very "applerish" this few day. I have been buying apples and giving them away. From last sat till today, I had bought a total of 15 apples but I only ate less than half an apple. This is because it is hard for me to bite an apple as I am wearing braces. Actually this urge of buying apples started on Sat when I was thinking what to do for weixiong as he got a minor food poisoning. For me, I am not a "card-ish" person. To write a "get well soon" card is definitely not my style! Then, I thought of apples as there was a saying, "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away!". In addition, in chinese, apples also mean "ping an" or safe. When I bought apple for him, i also bought extras so I started giving away, hoping people will also be in pink of health too. Yeah. Anyway, apple is really nice!
This morning, some of the people from engit went to church office to listening to a sermon. It was a great time of hearing a powerful message and fellowship with one another. Went to eat Chao Kway Tiao for lunch and got to know that pei xin hated cockles and oysters. To her, they are "da bian". LOL.
today's tuition is fun today. HAHA. Although she can be a small devil at times, she never fails to make me laugh.
Rayna: do u drink milk?
Rachel: yeah. You know ah. My milk is very special one. Because my neck will grow long after drinking. Really! I am drinking giraffe milk.
Rayna: HUH? How come?
Rachel: Because there is a giraffe on my milk can.

Just now, I received a message from Jia Min and she told me she had free sorbet for me. Yes. It's from Ben and Jerry! Went down to take from her and I took the Strawberry Kiwi flavour. Yea. It's weird I know. Taste weird too. But never mind, it's free anyway!

Woah! I think I'm going to end my holidays with a big bang!
this week, i will be going for leadership camp. If i'm not wrong, it will be at serangoon, a girl guides campsite. Jia min and I are very excited for camp. HAHA. I wondered what we will be doing there.. Hmm.. Pris said that it will be very fun because people who are going are core team and above, so they will be quite enthu. Also, it will be a camp of equipping myself with the teachings there. Last of all, not forgetting meeting, and hearing from God.
then next week, i will also be having a class chalet. It has been ages since I last went to chalet (exclude evo retreat). Great time to hang out with my classmates before school starts.
opss. school reopening soon but i still yet clean up my room.
Oh no! I'm addicted to pool despite losing for many games. jiamin and i stayed at jacob's place to play after cg until mid night. we missed our 15 bus but thank God, we managed to catch the last 65 bus. This dumb girl indeed has a very bad sense of direction. Places that she just went, she can also forget. LOL

Hmm. I shall call today a "people" day. I met up with many people. It was not those coincidence met up on the street but it was those making the effort down to meet people.
First, I met up with Kalyne for shepherding. We met up at Parkway and had our shepherding at the McCafe. I bought the caramel frappe with whipped cream while she bought the mocha frappe without the whipped cream. Shepherding was quite okay. Just that, I somehow lacked of brain juice. I can't really think of examples at certain point of time. Yea.
Second, after meeting kalyne, I met up with Priscilla at Tampines Interchange KFC for dinner. It was an hour journey ride there. WOAH! I was an hour late. Ate a meal there and deep in my heart, I knew I am going to get fat! Caramel Frappe with fatty whipped cream and KFC fried oily chicken and fries and whipped potato which both consist of carbo. Anyway, that was not the main dish. Well, the spiritual food was. Yea. Finally being shepherded after so many weeks.
Third, after being shepherded, I finally got to meet up with Magdelene. I am quite guilty because I wanted to meet her up several times but I always didnt until tonight. Once again, we had an heart to heart talk. A talk which doesn't care about each other's status. A talk which helps to dig out all the stuff which we had swept under the carpet. Many issue has to be clarified. Yeah. a fruitful talk I guess. also, it was a great time of catching up too ((:
Lastly, meet up with jia min and eagle for a drink. The alcoholic sweets which jia min brought, caused me to display some weird facial expression (which jia min called it stupid. But IT'S NOT!). That was my natural reaction after eating the sweet. (i wont be so free to entertain that jia min). Do try if you have a chance because she bought it from thailand. Drank a bit of baileys at the prata shop. I felt quite guilty about it because alcohol is not halal (I knew it today only). Had some time of feedback session again. I dont know why eagle is like our feedback channel. Hmm. maybe she is an eagle. She can fly.
Reached home a 1 plus. Well, a fruitful day of meeting people. Once again, it reminded me that I am not in a goal-oriented or task oriented minstry. I am in a people-oriented ministry. I serve God with people. I serve people in house of God. People are important. People's feeling, life, problems and so are important. Every individual is important and dear to God. Sometimes, I just missed the point.

Last Sunday, on my way home, I saw this group of Europeans doing some street stunts to earn money. Many watched but few gave. I was one of them. Ops. I really dont have money. But anyway, they are really good.
This man here, is able to balance the ball which is spinning on the fishing rod, on his chin.
As for this lady, she's able to balance herself on the rope and blow trumpet.
As for today, I've finally trimmed my hair. It has been months since I last went to the salon. But actually, it's not much different except that it is thinner. Also, I finally found my thumbdrive. Initially I thought I left it somewhere in school because I cant find it in my house. However, somehow, I just have the instinct that it's at home and it is! HAHA.
This afternoon's tution was as boring as before. But after tuition, I stayed about 50 min more just to play with her. Her dad bought her some wooden 3D craft thingy so I stayed and fixed it with her. HAHA. It's really fun. After I finished it, I just have that sense of achievement! HAHA. Then, on my way to the bus stop, I was thinking that maybe I can write a tuition teacher's diary (like the nanny's diary). There are always a lot of things happen there. Also, I was dreaming of opening an orphanage, hopefully at other countries. But everytime when I dream about opening a child care centre, orphanage or anything related to kids, I will always remember the scene at Giant. HAHA. Maybe I still can handle a small group of kids but I doubt I can handle a big one.

Went to watch NANNY DIARIES with my bestie, Hsinyi at Vivo. On our way there, we met an insane, nerdy indian school boy during the change of train at Outram Station. Initally, I saw him keep looking at us, so I thought he just want to do a survey or what so I asked, "erm.. yes?" So, he muttered, "are u...school?" I can't really understand what he was trying to bring across. My instinct just told me that he is a bit not right so i stepped back and moved away. then, he turned to follow hsinyi and asked her the same question. Likewise, hsinyi kept moving away from him. Then we tried to hide among the crowd, thinking that perhaps he will look for his next target. But he did not. He approached again. This time to Hsinyi. Instead of using the same method, we ran. all the way to the platform and hide behind a pillar! LOL. and we got rid of him. Then I was wonder if it's another GOTCHA show or what not.. HAHA. The movie is great. It's funny, at the same time heartwarming. After movie, we went to walk around vivocity. FINALLY! I got a chance to walk around this well known shopping centre! HAHA. It's isnt that big as what others said. yea. anyway, we took a lot of pictures. =D
oh btw, she had finish her promo. but she still have her pw to rush. so all the best, hsinyi! (: jia you. take care!
