HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR TEE HEE HEE!
(:
A date with Yakka
I met up with Yakka today. The last time when I met her was a few months ago. We went to food hunt again. Initially, I wanted to bring her to the Korean restaurant at Peninsula Plaza. However, when we reached there, the shop had closed down. In the end, we headed to Clarke Quay where there are more interesting food.
The first station-- WARAKU @ CENTRAL
Yakka's
Mine-- Unagi fried rice in stone bowl
2nd Station-- Some pastry/ cake shop @ CENTRAL basement.
3rd Station-- Supermaket-- We bought this box of grape (imported from Japan)
We sat outside CENTRAL, eating grapes like some OBASAN.
But who cares?
Just for laughs. She took this and added the two pinkish thing. =/
Find her eyes. Winner gets a prize from me. =/
Last station-- Azabu restaurant's tea break desert.
I'm not the ultimate big eater. She is. After we parted, she went to meet her family to eat at the SHIP restaurant. MADNESS. Anyway, it's a great time chilling out with her. Looking forward to our next food hunting trip. (:

Toys
Last Saturday, someone threw away his toys at my house's void deck. Out of curiosity, Joseph, chia, sf and I went to "play" with the toys as if we did not have any childhood. Dirty but fun!
More toys at the back
I got my new toy that day. It was a gift from Nigel. He is back from Australia. He told me this is a live kangaroo and I asked him why. He said that when I carry it around, it will hop/ move like a live kangaroo. Oh well, I accepted that excuses. Anyway, thanks "dad".
Security and Surveillance
Security and surveillance is an interesting subject. Here are some of the interesting equipment in the lab.
The alarm system
CCTV
This intsrument costs about $5000. It is a surveillance camera that can work even in the dark. It detects objects by the difference temperatures which different object produce.

Caught In Action
Jim and I did this during tutorial. We were really bored to the max. Throughout the lesson, we didnt really pay any attention. At the end of the lesson, Tommy asked the question again. "Eh. where's Rayna?"
"Oh! I'm here. Was hiding."
I am a Groundbreaking Thinker
Zephanie showed me this last night I thougt it was interesting. Click here to enlarge. After that, I went to google out about this guy and I saw this video which I thought it was encouraging and inspiring.
WAM Vision Night + Team Ministry Gathering
I went for the WAM + Team Ministry night today after my school ended. I was pretty looking forward because WAM nights had stopped for a while due to some reasons. The highlight of tonight event was the affirmation time. People who had served in particular ministry for more than 5 years are awarded with this "Long Service Award". It is really amazing to see people serving in the same ministry for such a long time. Moreover, they are not paid. Really thank God for these people's faithfulness!
Apart from this, I also met other people from other services. We used to serve in the combined choir ministry for Christmas service in 2006 and church anniversary in 2007. I really miss those good old days, learning new songs together, sharing lives and encouraging one another to grow in God. One reason why I love WAM nights is that I get a chance to see them again. Seeing them again really encourages me as you see them still serving God faithfully.
This is taken during church anniversary.
One thing about singing in special service like this is that make up is never thick enough and blusher is never red enough.
This 3 pictures are taken during Christmas at Kallang Theatre in 2006.
Last of all, the giraffes and animals which Ps Lawrence mentioned just now. Thank God for the decor people. They put in a lot of effort. That time, I heard that Kallang Theatre love their props and was wondering if we could give them thoseprops. Haha.
There are still longer road to go but I'll be faithful to finish the task which God has appointed me...
Desert Song
The tune of this song has been spinning in my head these few days. As I went to find out more about this song, I fell in love with the lyrics. Yes. I love the lyrics.
Enjoy the song.
VERSE 1: This is my prayer in the desert When all that’s within me feels dry This is my prayer in my hunger and need My God is the God who provides
VERSE 2: This is my prayer in the fire In weakness or trial or pain There is a faith proved of more worth than gold So refine me Lord through the flame
CHORUS: And I will bring praise, I will bring praise No weapon formed against me shall remain I will rejoice, I will declare God is my victory and He is here
VERSE 3: This is my prayer in the battle When triumph is still on its way I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ So firm on His promise I’ll stand
BRIDGE: All of my life, In every season You are still God I have a reason to sing I have a reason to worship
VERSE 4: This is my prayer in the harvest When favor and providence flow I know I’m filled to be emptied again The seed I’ve received I will sow
